Individuals, organizations and foundations are invited to contribute money to the foundation. These contributions go directly to help advance the causes of inviting people to “Come unto Christ” by accepting and reading the Book of Mormon.
The foundation had as its inspiration, the desires expressed by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to help move this great work forward.
All administrative, operational and development costs have been born by dedicated individual members who have sought to accept the Lord’s challenge to help Him “Sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out His elect.” To sweep the earth requires far more support from those whom the Lord has so graciously blessed.
Approved by the State of Utah to solicit and accept contributions and to be responsive to those who support this work the foundation was established, as a 501 c (3) Charitable Foundation making contributions a charitable donation.
To be clear, the foundation does not and will not use its sacred funds to solicit donations. Our goal is not fundraising. Our goal is simply to honor the intentions of generous members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to help Flood the Earth with the Book of Mormon.
The foundation appreciatively invites donations from individuals, organizations and foundations. We do not hire others to raise funds for the foundation.
We will accept only unrestricted gifts—that is, contributions that are not earmarked for specific purposes or that include conditions or contingencies.
We will not offer public recognition for any gifts we receive, although the names of those who contribute $5,000 or more will be included on our 990-PF tax form to satisfy tax laws.
We reserve the right, to change these guidelines at any time, and to make exceptions to these guidelines in special circumstances.
Contributions do not entitle donors to participate in foundation decision-making or give donors special access to the foundation’s leaders or staff.
Contributions may be tax deductible in the U.S. Donors may want to consult their tax advisor before making a donation to the foundation.
